Nepali Calendar — A Bikram Sambat Desktop App
A Bikram Sambat calendar for Windows, with always-on-top desktop widgets so the current BS date is never more than a glance away.
The BS date stops being something you look up. Three widget sizes sit on the desktop, remember where you put them, and roll over at midnight on their own.
Overview
A WPF app on .NET 10, built around a converter whose BS-to-AD round trips are verified by tests rather than trusted. The bundled calendar data covers BS 2081–2087, and outside that range the app degrades rather than fails — an out-of-range date is a handled case, not a crash. It lives in the system tray, so closing a widget never loses the app. 48 unit tests cover the converter, the event store, holidays, reminders and both export formats.
