We Go Unplanned — Link-in-Bio

An installable link-in-bio page for a motorcycle-travel brand: one card, four social buttons, and a twilight scene that costs almost nothing to run.

Four scattered social profiles get one address, tied to a single entity in structured data so search engines read them as one brand rather than four strangers.

Overview

Next.js 16 with every route prerendered to static HTML. The art direction is a physically-grounded dusk — a cool teal-indigo zenith over a warm sunset afterglow, glowing up through three ranges of mountains drawn in atmospheric perspective — and the constraint was that none of it may cost anything to run. There are no blur filters and no backdrop-filter; all continuous motion is transform and opacity only, so idle repaint stays near zero. Star positions are seeded rather than random, so the server and the browser draw the same sky. It installs to a home screen and works offline after the first visit.

  • Installable PWA — launches standalone and works offline after the first visit
  • Composite-only ambient motion: a breathing horizon, a twinkling starfield, a rare shooting star
  • Deterministic server-rendered star field, so there is no hydration mismatch
  • One light model lighting every card, chip and the compass emblem from the same scene
  • Native share sheet on mobile, with copy-link and a toast on desktop
  • JSON-LD Organization tying every social profile to one entity, plus sitemap, robots and a 1200x630 share card
  • Full prefers-reduced-motion support — the sky freezes, then drops entirely
